Seven of Andrew 

My pup, Seven, is named after a Star Trek character, Seven of Nine. She was a human, assimilated into a species called the BORG where she was the seventh unit of nine total, so Seven was her designation, while Seven of Nine was her group.  

I wont bore you with details, but my Seven of Nines whole mission was to find her humanity again and doing so, she not only saved her crew, but she showed them what it was like to be human at the most critical times. Seven, was that for me, coming into my life when I needed to find my humanity and over the last 5.5 years she has shown me my humanity when I needed it most. She saved me and I in ways saved her---so that is why her designation is Seven of Andrew and why she is more then family. She is everything to me  This section is dedicated to telling her story through her eyes as she saved me over and over again.

 And if it feels like the art of racing in the rain, it is heavily inspired by that type of story telling.
